Arnette Digital AR00203

Today I'm wearing this Arnette digital watch. You might know Arnette for their sunglasses, but like Oakley, they branched out into watches. I'm not sure if they still make them as the Arnette site doesn't say anything about watches. I picked this up cheap when the original owner posted it on the PMWF. I think I was drawn to the industrial-looking case with screw-down caseback as well as the orange detailing. The seller actually had bought three of them, wore one, gave one away and this one sat new and unused. It's actually quite a solid watch with neat dot matrix-like display and comfortable and functional velcro strap. It is definitely one of my least legible watches though, especially if you are not in bright light and don't use the EL backlight. I actually found out today there is a version of this watch with the inverse color scheme and a non-reversed display. I actually like it quite a bit, so I'm torn between trying to snag it and have both versions, or just unload this one and replace it with a G-Shock.

Any chance you are willing to sell this watch? I lost this exact watch in the Pacific ocean about two years ago and I can't find it anywhere online. Awesome watch.

Let me know...

Hey Jason,

I was wondering if you were willing to sell your black and orange Arnette watch (model # AR2003). My watch came off in the movie theater and no one returned it. I wouldn't care so much other than it had a lot of sentimental value. My late grandfather had bought the watch for me. I would GREATLY appreciate it if you would be willing to sell it. Thank you for your time. Billy (email: bubbytwelve@aol.com)

Hey Jason... I was wondering if you still have this watch? I'm anxious to hear from you. I wrote you an email back in April... and I was just wondering if you could please respond to me as soon as possible!

Sincerely,
Billy

I have one of these Orange and stainless steel black faced 100 meters arnette watches, i bought it new in 2004, it is a bit worn and the glass is chipped in one corner and the original velcro strap is long gone and been replaced with a stainless steel strap, the battery has been renewed many times but the watch is still working to this day, I am willing to sell it at a decent offer, tonybnd@aol.com
